A couple of weeks ago I received Zune Leather cases from Vaja. I really like them, and I been using it for a bit testing them out. Here is the review!
Model: Green ‘Balanced’ Case
Price: $60.00
What comes in the package:
Leather Case
Three clear screen protectors
instruction manual
Vaja has teamed up with Microsoft and released beautiful leather cases for the Zune. These leather cases are the real deal, no faux leather going on with Vaja. It brings luxury to your Zune, for sure. The plastic screen protector is made of some sort of acrylic that is removable. It comes with three of these, so they can be replaced if they scratch. The screens come with a blue wrapping which is not pointed out anywhere that they are supposed to be removed. Some people I know did not know this and though that’s how the screens where. The case is strong and built to last impacts, which is good.

Case
100% Leather straight from Argentina. Completely beautiful, and I am not being biased because I am from South America as well. The cases are thick enough to protect from impact. However, they make the Zune a bit bulkier. They come in a few colors and you can even customize some. The cases are easily scratched, but it is normal with Leather. The case does not cover the corners and leaves them out in the open. I would not worry much about this though. The case has extra space, keeping the corners of your Zune away from the edge.
This Balanced model did not come with a clip for you belt so it would still have to go in your pocket or purse. However, they do make models with the option.
Screen Protector
I did not like the screen protector much. It seems kind of cheap against the beautiful leather that is the case. The package comes with three of these clear acrylic screen protectors and you have to install them yourself. They are easy to install and come with an instruction manual if you are not sure how to install them. But, I am pretty sure you won’t need it. These screens suck up lint and finger prints easily, which can be bothersome. Make sure you have clean hands when installing them to not get dirt and prints on the inside of the screen. The ones outside you can always clean easily. All in all the screen could have been better, but its not terrible.

The Zune Vaja cases make a great case. Even though it is pricey, if you want a nice fancy case Vaja is it.

They have hit the streets! You can check out more on flickr. I like the illustration on the back, but not so sure about the glossy look. What do you guys think?
Thanks Zune-Online for the heads up.
