As one of the features of the new update for the Xbox 360 dashboard, we are now able to change the LIVE ID associated with your Gamertag/Zunetag. Because the Zune tag and Gamertag are merged, this will affect us as well. However, I am not aware that we will be able to change the link anywhere but on the Xbox 360 dashboard.

After almost a year of thinking about getting it, I have now subscribed to the Zune Pass. My initial thoughts were not positive. What is the point of paying to just rent music? After you stop paying all your music is gone? I just didn’t see how I could benifit from it on the long run. Well, I was wrong.
20 minutes into my purchase, I had downloaded six albums! This is something I could not do before. 30 second samples turn into full songs, letting you listen to the full song before you add it to your collection — or buy it. ZunePass is really a great way to sample tons of music, the ones you really want you can buy. In the social, when friends send me albums, I can actually listen to the whole album and give a true feedback based on an entire album, not just 30 second samples.
You can subscribe for one-month or three-months. To people not sure, I recommend getting it for a month — try it out! You have nothing to lose.

Zune, obviously, is my MP3 Player of choice. Sharing, rating music, downloading new music from the marketplace are things I love to do. The is only one problem — I’m on a mac. As a designer, we are trained to work on Macs and pretty much forced into it. After awhile we grow used to Mac’s and just the sight of Windows brings chills to our spines.
Zune changed all this for me. Because of it, I grew the courage to go back and show Windows who’s boss! Really, they aren’t too different and Windows is not as bad as I though. But I still need to be on a Mac and do my Zune’n Windows.
How is this problem fixed? Parallels. Unlike Mac’s bootcamp, where Windows takes a chuck of your HDD and even restart is required every time you need to use Windows or switch back to Mac, Parallels allows you to run Windows side-by-side. Letting me use Zune software to listen to music, sync, download while working on my next big project on the Mac. If any Zune fan uses a mac, I highly recommend this software!
